*Chicory derived inulin.
Chicory derived inulin helps to ensure complete digestion of all the micro-nutrients, trace elements and minerals available in this diet. This results in your dog being maintained in the peak of condition and helps prevent common digestive problems such as flatulence (wind!) and dietary looseness.
*Poultry meat meal.
All poultry based complete dog food is labelled as containing 'poultry meat meal'. Poultry meat meal can be high quality human grade poultry meat or it could be low grade meat and include crushed claws, beaks and feathers for example. Chicken feathers contain approx 60% protein but are completely indigestible. (Remember undigested food has to leave the body. The more undigested food there is the more waste will need clearing up!!!)
All poultry based products available from this site contain very, very high grade poultry meat meal.
The price of complete dog food does not guarantee the quality of poultry meat meal used!!
